Who is your number one fan? Who do you go to when you want to make a major change in your life? We all need someone in our corner. This fan might be a coach, confidant, friend, mentor…the list can go on and on.
Here’s the thing…if you research all of the most successful people you know, you will find one common theme amongst them – they all have someone in their personal and/or professional life that has guided, coached and mentored them to success. The power of having a mentor to help you with challenges is life changing. This is what I get to do everyday, all day, all ages, all types of wonderful people.
The important thing is to have a trustworthy fan who will support you when you are unable to support yourself, a person you trust and rely on to point out when you are caught in your own story.
Someone who believes in you even when you don’t believe in yourself. Someone who is there no matter what, and keeps you on track even when you get derailed. They hold your highest awareness alive and vital.
This person is able to see where you are and what is possible, not probable.
I have people in my life who support me: family and friends, but I know that I also need someone to really keep me accountable as well.
That is why I have a variety of coaches: a financial coach and business coach. I am part of an incredible creative coaching circle which means I have approximately 20 fans! Hooray!
I am who I am today because of the people I have manifested to hold me accountable to my dreams and aspirations.
This is also what I do for others. I love that this is my work. I know that I see the possibilities my clients might not see in themselves.
There is a quote that I love from Peter McWilliams, from his book The Portable DO IT!
“Committing to a dream is not a one-time occurrence. It must be done daily, hourly, continually. We must choose to commit to our choice, over and over.”
Having that someone, that fan to remind you of your hopes, dreams and goals is the difference between living a life and living a life you love!
